SNOWDROP SUNDAY

Deene Park Snowdrops

 

Deene Park has become renowned for its Snowdrop Sundays.
 
There are large drifts of snowdrops and many rare varieties that are a delight to see.
 
The lovely ‘Old Kitchen’ will be open with a roaring log fire to welcome you whatever the weather. There will be soup and hot food, tea, coffee and cake for sale, all of which is home-made in the kitchens at Deene Park.
 
The first Snowdrop Sunday will be on Valentine's Day and what could be more romantic than walking through a sea of snowdrops? It is not to be missed.
 
 
 

THE GARDENS IN SPRING

Come and spend some of your Easter weekend surrounded by Daffodils and Hyacinths plus a late show of Hellebores and Ribes.

Enjoy a private tour of the gardens at Deene Park with the Head Gardener. Have tea in the Great Hall before moving outdoors to experience the sights, sounds and smells on offer. Afterwards, enjoy a two course lunch in the 'Old Kitchen'.
 
 
 
 
 

THE SCENT OF SUMMER

EVENSONG FOR HARVEST FESTIVAL

 

Sunday 26 September, 5 p.m.

 
 
An Evensong for Harvest Festival will be held at St. Peter's Church in Deene, located near to Deene Park. The service will be led by the Rev. Fr. Simon Fisher and music will be provided by members of the Northampton Bach Choir and Welbeck Singers.
 
After the service there will be the chance for all to access the south chapel contaning monuments to the Brudenell family. These date from 1531 and include the tomb by J.E. Boehm of the 7th Earl and his wife. There will be refreshments provided and a collection will be held towards the work of the Churches Conservation Trust.
