Set in what was the old kitchen for the main house, the tea room is dominated by a wall to wall Victorian range complete with open fire; the original stone slabs set into the floor were quarried locally, probably from the Weldon Quarry.
Visitors to the Old Kitchen tea room can enjoy a variety of dishes from our lunchtime menu which offers delicious homemade food and freshly made sandwiches and baguettes. For afternoon tea lovers we also offer a range of scrumptious cakes and pastries as well as the great British favourite, Cream Tea!
We are open from 12am – 4:00pm Tuesday to Friday and 12pm – 5pm on house and garden open days.
